Your health

Our philosophy

About Us

Your body is a temple.  Do you treat it like a tent? Like it or not, yours is your body for the rest of your life. I've heard it too many times from seniors; "If I knew I was gonna last this long, I would'a taken better care of myself!" Don't let this be you! Proper diet, exercise, moderation, adequate sleep, positive  mental attitude, AND 100% nervous system communica-tion all together are the key to a healthy life and making the most of the genetic hand we are dealt.

Joint dysfunction (subluxations) over time are known to accelerate joint degeneration (arthritis) and diminish nerve communication to our tissues/organs.  A chiropractic care plan will likely safely cease your pain AND also help restore these vital communication pathways! Can ibuprofen, lortab, acetaminophen, etc.  do that, or restore joint function to prevent or slow joint degeneration (arthritis)?

Uh, no.

Your body is the greatest machine ever created. Injuries, even in the past, bad posture habits, and repetitive stress injuries can create situations to where your body cannot continue to function at the mechanical and neurological ability for which it was created. Pain is most often what sends most patients to us, but pain can be off and on. The underlying cause of that pain needs to be thoroughly corrected for your body to function properly.

At Appalachian Chiropractic PC in Kingsport, TN, we will thoroughly assess and treat your body with light adjustments that correct the joint dysfunction likely causing your pain and distress. We understand that there are times where more complicated issues are present and if warranted will refer to an appropriate specialist.
